ANSOTEC opens new offices in the Basque Country, in Zarautz.

ANSOTEC  recently opened new offices in Zarautz, in the Basque Country, as part of its plan to expand the business. The objective behind the opening of this new office, scheduled within the strategic plan 2015-2018, was the decentralization of the company’s Human Resources, Sales and Technicians, expanding its resources to other regions with a strong industrial tradition in Spain, such as the Basque Country.

There are several factors that encouraged the company to expand in this way.

First of all, there is the strategic partnership with the company Solids System, whose offices are in Zarautz, to accompany them as they develop their projects. Solids System-Technik is a member of the Spanish-German Solids Solutions Group that specializes in processes for bulk solids handling, from the provision of equipment and components to key in hand installations, in which Ansotec shall from now on be involved in the E&IC specialization.

On the other hand, the strong industrial character of the region makes it an ideal place for the expansion of the company.

Finally, there is ANSOTEC’s knowledge of the Basque Country, where its director, Alberto Gúzman studied industrial engineering in San Sebastián, although he was born in Granada. His contacts in the area and the facility for finding qualified technical staff in this location made this office an easy decision.

Alongside these factors, there is a lot of interest in this region for the ANSOTEC project and its commitment to digital transformation in industry, making the concept of Industry 4.0 a reality. Taken together, these factors have inspired the company to take this step and begin its expansion.
