Ansotec has won an important international project in Mexico. It will carry out the implementation of the new control system for an important multinational’s new Porcelain and Ceramic factory in Mexico, dedicated to the production of porcelain ware and ceramics.

This project will be a collaboration with Proymec, a mechanical “key in hand” company that specializes in the transport and handling of solids, and which is based in Vilareal (Castellón).

The project that Ansotec will compete will entail the control of the process of filling 40 silos, each 30 metres high, using tanker lorries. Ansotec is responsible for controlling the dosing process for all raw materials used in the different recipes for porcelain and ceramic products and the pneumatic delivery of this diluted mixture to the product mixers that feed into the ceramic kilns.

The work to be done includes>

  • Supervision system
  • Electrical and control cabinets
  • Instrument supply
  • Detailed electrical, control and pneumatics engineering.
  • Supervision of the plant electricity installation
  • Testing and commissioning of the installations.

The whole project will be developed using Rockwell Automation Control Systems based on the Factory Talk View SE Platform and Control Logix Controllers. Ansotec has recently been recognised by the American company as a “Rockwell Automation Recognised Integrator”.

The Project is due to be completed in the first months of 2018.
