{"id":2502,"date":"2017-11-10T11:56:09","date_gmt":"2017-11-10T11:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ansotec.com\/new-project-for-the-process-automation-and-control-in-the-oil-gas-sector-in-central-america\/"},"modified":"2026-02-05T08:36:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-05T07:36:06","slug":"new-project-for-the-process-automation-and-control-in-the-oil-gas-sector-in-central-america","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ansotec.com\/en\/new-project-for-the-process-automation-and-control-in-the-oil-gas-sector-in-central-america\/","title":{"rendered":"New Project for the Process Automation and Control in the Oil &#038; Gas sector in Central America"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ansotec Soluciones Tecn\u00f3logicas has won the contract for a new Process Automation and Control Project in the <strong>Oil &amp; Gas Sector in Central America.<\/strong><br>The project will be carried out before March 2018 under the responsibility of the Main Contractor Proimtu, the Panamanian subsidiary of Grupo Mara (Seville, Spain).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grupo Mara and Proimtu, in turn, have acquired in EPC mode the reconditioning of a Fuel Storage Facility in the city of Col\u00f3n, in Panama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ansotec is in charge of the Design, Supply of Equipment, Programming, FAT, SAT Testing and commissioning of the Systems:&nbsp;<strong>PCS (Process Control System), ESD (Energy Shutdown System) and FDS (Fire Detection System)<\/strong>, for supervision, control and stopping the Distribution and Storage facilities at the Terminal Puma I Energy in Col\u00f3n (Panama).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ansotec will develop the project using the PlantPAX Process Control System of the Manufacturer\u00a0Rockwell Automation\u00a0for whom Ansotec has been a Rockwell Automation Recognised Integrator since 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project will use 3 Redundant Systems based on <strong>Redundant ContolLogix Controllers for each of the PCS, ESD and FDS respectively, and a redundant SCADA Factory Talk View SE<\/strong> implemented on a virtualization platform by the Manufacturer Vmware.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ansotec Soluciones Tecn\u00f3logicas has won the contract for a new Process Automation and Control Project in the Oil &amp; Gas Sector in Central America.The project will be carried out before March 2018 under the responsibility of the Main Contractor Proimtu, the Panamanian subsidiary of Grupo Mara (Seville, Spain).
